Abstract

We present the case of a 45-year-old man with a diagnosis of Covid-19, of two weeks of evolution, with symptoms of dyspnea, depression, significant decrease in functional capacity and quality of life. The patient underwent 10 tele-rehabilitation sessions, which included exercises for the training and strengthening of the ventilatory muscles, as well as exercises for the upper and lower limbs to improve the functional capacity of the patient. Likewise, in the intervention I include the use of the Triburter as a key device. In the tele-rehabilitation process, functional capacity and depressive symptoms were evaluated both at the beginning and at the end using instruments such as the Katz index and the PQH9. At the end of the tele-rehabilitation process, the patient showed positive results in terms of a significant decrease in respiratory and depressive symptoms, an increase in functional capacity and quality of life. Tele-rehabilitation is recommended as a method to intervene in respiratory sequelae, as is the use of the Triburter as a portable device for both autologous and directed respiratory therapy, which can contribute to the development of a comprehensive and quality rehabilitation process in post pandemic.
