Abstract
Background: Cerebrovascular events (CVD) have become increasingly important both in developed and underdeveloped countries, since compared to other pathologies, it is in the fourth place in the world as one of the diseases that affects the central nervous system, reaching affect the quality of life of the human being. This paper aims to examine the scientific production regarding the intervention of Physiotherapy in this area of health from motor learning in patients with CVD. Method: a review of the existing literature in different databases was carried out, the analysis of the content of the recovered documents was done through a matrix with those that met the criterion of physiotherapy intervention in neurorehabilitation (purpose, planning and execution) in both lower and lower limbs focusing on middle cerebral artery lesions. Results:  Evidence of the different interventions such as implicit motor, explicit, feedback, sensory, perceptual and virtual reality components with Neurocognitive approaches are found, but these papers in the world and Colombia are articles of systematic reviews published between the years 2013-2016 with themes have no explorations about purpose, planning as components of motor learning in people with cerebrovascular events. Conclusions : Although the evidence found is  relevant, the development of the research regarding the characteristics and planning of interventions for this type of population
