Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the presence of depressive symptoms in patients with myocardial revascularization belonging to an institutional cardiac rehabilitation program. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was developed. All patients undergoing revascularization belonging to the institution's cardiac rehabilitation program were evaluated with the PHQ-9 ® instrument. Results: A total of 30 patients were included, of which 33.3% were women and 66.6% were men. Within the sample, 86.7% of revascularized patients showed some depressive symptoms.
