Revista Movimiento Científico applies a transparent and confidential editorial process based on scientific quality, ethics, and research integrity criteria. All manuscripts received are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the entire editorial process.
The purpose of the evaluation process is to ensure the originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, academic relevance, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the health sciences.
Once the manuscript has been received through the OJS platform, the Editorial Committee conducts a preliminary review lasting two weeks to verify that:

After successfully completing all editorial and technical stages, the article will be published electronically with its corresponding Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring its permanent identification and appropriate academic visibility.
Authors may submit a request for reconsideration of the editorial decision when they consider that there are sufficient academic grounds to do so.
The appeal must be submitted in writing, duly justified, and will be reviewed by the Editor and the Editorial Committee, who will issue a final decision.
When necessary, the Journal will publish corrections, clarifications, errata, retractions, and apologies.
