Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: telerehabilitation is considered an innovative health strategy, which seeks to improve access to health from a comprehensive care component, favoring the applicability of various components and improving the health conditions of patients, in order to reintegrate them to its various activities, this article aims to present telerehabilitation as a health strategy. Method: a search was carried out in various databases such as Pubmed, Pedro, EBSCO, Scielo, finding a total of 235 articles, of which 29 articles and 8 clinical guidelines for telerehabilitation in physiotherapy were selected. Results: It was possible to identify a large percentage of the benefits of physiotherapy from telerehabilitation in patients with various pathologies, however, some studies do not recommend this strategy as they show a low degree of evidence. Conclusion: Telerehabilitation in the physiotherapeutic field is a fundamental strategy for the health care of patients whose health condition allows it, obtaining satisfactory results from the improvement of their capacities and the connection to various activities.
