Case Description: 6 cases, children 8 presents- 12 years diagnosed with intellectual disabilities; physiotherapy intervention program based on postural control based on tone, balance, laterality and coordination was applied. Intervention: 24 therapy sessions conducted three times a week lasting 1 hour each session were made. The assessment of postural control was made by the Psychomotor Battery Da Fonseca made 2 types of measurement: pretest and posttest.
Results: After the intervention there are positive changes in the distribution of the different components of the scale: all components have significant improvement as tone, balance, body notion, structuring temporary space, thick and thin praxias except laterality.
