Individualization in team sports
La individualización dentro del deporte colectivo the commitment to professional and responsible prescription

Proper exercise prescription is a topic of great interest that has evolved over time, from the initial concept of the ancient Greeks to current definitions and theories. Different methods have been developed, introducing different principles and criteria, among them the principle of individualization. This principle is increasingly recognized as playing an important role in exercise prescription. The effectiveness of the principle of individualization on performance in collective sports is undeniable, but it is still difficult to see it being implemented in reality, mainly due to conditions outside the sports field, becoming a practice that is almost exclusively used by elite athletes. Different trends have generated important changes in the way exercise is prescribed, Covid-19 and the emergence of new professions such as media influencers are some of the challenges that the 21st century poses for sports professionals.
