The consequences of COVID-19 are diverse and prolonged, which is why validated instruments on functionality are required in Colombia. Therefore, the objective is to carry out the apparent validation and reliability of the post-COVID-19 functional status scale. Spanish version (Colombia). Methods: Type of study: instrument validation. Selection criterion: be an expert healthcare professional (7 professionals); discharge from San José hospitals with a COVID-19 diagnosis (20 patients). An analysis of the acceptability index and the degree of agreement obtained between the experts was carried out with the Cronbach's alpha statistic. For inter-rater reproducibility, two measurements were carried out by trained experts on 20 patients with a diagnosis of covid hospitalized in health institutions with a 24-hour difference between each measurement. Results: For the agreement index, Cronbach's alpha was calculated, obtaining a value of 0.9 for the total scale, which indicates that internal consistency is appropriate among the expert evaluators. For inter-rater reproducibility, Spearman index values are obtained with a result of 0.992, indicating an appropriate compensation coefficient between the evaluators' measurements. Conclusions: The PCFS scale is determined to be valid for use in the Colombian population based on the results of internal consistency and inter-rater reproducibility. It is suggested to carry out construct validation as stated by the authors.
