Abstract

The performance of a high-level athlete is influenced by several factors, one of them being the motor components of movement, which have an impact on the complexity of motor coordination, mainly for the organization and execution of movements in motor planning. To introduce a case of a Colombian professional male soccer player (20 years old) which is presented who underwent an analysis of the motor component of the lower limb. The variables studied were flexibility, explosive strength, baropodometry and stabilometry. Differences were observed in the right body segment, mainly in the Flexibility test Back saber, 90/90° and Thomas test; In addition, stability and baropodometry tests, distribution of the greater load on the left foot (65%), slightly cavus, concordant with significant changes in open eyes and closed eyes tests in static body stability, body barycenter OA p=52.69 and OC p=15.98. It is concluded that the alteration of flexibility and stabilometric capacities are those that present greater alteration, which increases the probability of suffering a sports injury, as it is known, knowing the alterations in the motor component of the soccer player mitigates the presentation of injuries.
