CIRCUITOS FUNCIONALES EN REHABILITACIÓN

Resumen

Introducción: En la actualidad se ha considerado el entrenamiento funcional como la renovación de los conceptos de entrenamiento en el mundo, este tipo de entrenamiento tiene como objetivo integrar todos los elementos del movimiento corporal humano, estos elementos son: Fuerza, resistencia, potencia, velocidad, balance, agilidad, equilibrio y estabilización. Los cuales son los pilares de la fundamentación del entrenamiento funcional dirigido a actividades de la vida diaria o al acondicionamiento a nivel deportivo.

Método: Se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura de estudios contemplados del año 2000 al 2015 en bases de datos como “Ebsco” “Pedro” “Hinari” “Elsevier” “Science Direct” “Springer” “Medline”, literatura que contemplara los siguientes términos MESH: “functional exercise”, “cognitive capacity”, “athletes”, “Feedback¨, la literatura se aceptaría en idioma español, ingles y portugués.

Resultados: Después de la revisión se pudo identificar N= 49 artículos que argumentan la utilización de los circuitos funcionales en procesos de rehabilitación en fisioterapia, estos circuitos deben basarse en componentes motores y sensoriales que se combinen para darle al usuario la máxima complejidad en su tratamiento de recuperación, entre los elementos motores se encuentran coordinación, agilidad, velocidad, fuerza, resistencia y flexibilidad y los elementos cognitivos están la orientación espacial, sistema visual, somatosensorial y auditivo.

Conclusiones: Los circuitos funcionales son un concepto de intervención fisioterapéutica que debe ser trabajado por todos los profesionales en rehabilitación debido a que a través del mismo se logra una integración de todos los elementos del movimiento corporal humano encaminados a la rehabilitacion de paciente y el retorno a las actividades de la vida diaria.
